Nigel Evans conquers everything Trevose could throw at him

Nigel Evans led from start to finish to win by 7 shots at TrevoseGC from Ian Attoe who secured a succesful defence of the Scratch order of merit. Phil Bramall who was runner up in the Scratch OOM also skippered the South East team to victory in the Inter Regional foursomes even after losing 3.5-2.5 on the final day to a fast finishing South West team Captained by Steve Leahey. Adrian Donkersley`s Midlands team finished 3rd just ahead of the North side led by Nigel Clowes. A fantastic week of Golf made all the better by weather forecasts that never quite became as bad as promised. See you all next year.

UKSGA beat Sweden at lovely Littlestone

Captain Billy Mitchell lead his team of 12 to a comprehensive victory over the Swedish team led by Bo Ryden over two days at a sun drenched Littlestone GC. However although the result appears one sided many matches were very close and all were played in a fantastic spirit and with great camaraderie between all players.

UKSGA v Norway 2018

The UKSGA v Norway International Match 2018 for the Viking Trophy took place on 18th and 19th September at Tyrifjord GolfKlubb, nr Oslo. As ever, the contest was hard fought in excellent spirit and, despite some great performances by UKSGA, honours this time went to the Norwegians with the final score of 25.5 to 28.5.
