England Senior Series Scratch V UKSGA
Royal Norwich Hosted our Inaugural match with the England Seniors Series scratch team. The weather threatened but held off for an excellent 2 day, Ryder Cup style match on the same week as the real thing.
It was even-stevens on day one in the 4 balls leaving the scores at 3-3. On day two England proved too strong winning 8 of the 12 singles matches to set up an 11-7 victory.
Feedback was very good with those playing particularly as it gives an excellent chance for others to represent the UKSGA.Special thanks to Alastair Booth who, despite wearing both hats, Captained the side in excellent fashion.
