Experience dominates at Lindrick

Nigel Evans added 72 to a 77 to win by one from Mike White (West Wilts GC ) 76+74 who pipped Stephen Whymark (Woodbridge GC) 76+74 on last 9 at a breezy Lindrick. Our first visit was very well received and with our tournament office being in the Ryder Cup room, everybody was able to enjoy all the excellent facilities in the clubhouse and the adjacent practise facilities, even the flag positions were not a matter of concern! and perfectly placed as Ian Macdonald had his 8th hole in one at the 3rd hole on day 1.

Nigel also led the S/Snrs with 2 Masters in Stephen Whymark and Stuart Pond (Worksop GC) 83+73 following him in 2nd and 3rd, so you can guess who led the masters category. Stephen followed by Stuart with Basil Griffiths (Llanymynech GC) in 3rd.

Stuart Pond won the Nett with 76+66 and we thank him, Stacy, Becs and John Duck as well as the Lindrick club and members and we look forward to returning in the near future.
