As you would expect from competitive golf, there is an annual Order of Merit that results in a leaderboard which is used to select UK Senior & Super Senior teams to play against 23 other European countries.

The results of the  European Championships can be seen by clicking on http://www.esgagolf.com where you can see the UKSGA winning the ESGA Seniors (55+) Team Championship at Celtic Manor.

If you would like to experience the camaraderie, the competitive spirit or the calibre of the venues we visit, then why not simply come along to one of the clubs featured above and have a chat with our National Secretary.

Rules of the Association governing Membership are provided under the About Us banner showing our Constitution, Regulations and Byelaws.

There is a one-time Joining Fee of £150 and an annual membership subscription of £50.

If you are 54 and "coming of age" during 2020 you are welcome to put your application in now for consideration by our Committee of members. You will be required to obtain the support for your application from an existing member or, if you do not know any of our members, you may give your club/county secretary's email address for reference purposes. The membership is currently full but you are very welcome to submit your application and join the waiting list which is regularly reviewed by the membership committee.

Many factors will be taken into account such as playing record, country, county and club representation and known successes in golf. Acceptance is not automatic as there is considerable demand for limited places.

We review membership applications once a year at the end of the season and would hopefully accept new members at that time in readiness for the playing season next year.
