UKSGA v Norway on 14th and 15th September.
Despite the wet and windy weather, we had an excellent two days of golf on two great courses at Royal Ashdown Forest.
Matches were played on a points basis with 1 point for the front nine, one point for the back and one for overall.
The first day, four ball better ball, went to UKSGA with 16 points to 8 while Norway took the second day of singles by 26 to 22.
The final result was a win by UKSGA with the narrow margin of 38 to 34, enablng them to retain The Viking Trophy.
Players all seemed to enjoy their matches which were played in a great spirit with much humour.
We all look forward to the return match next year in Norway.
