In 3rd place again only one shot away in what was one of the most competitive events this year was Les Bruckner (Hindhead ) with 74+70.
Then we have the Hugh Purvis (Long Ashton ) show who won the S/Snrs on countback 76+73 from Nigel Evans (St Mellons ) 70+79,obviously the Masters and the Best Nett with 70+67. With 6 Gross scores under par and 24 nett scores below 72, it was no wonder the PCC moved down. ( That last bit is a lie, it didn`t actually move either day). Other highlights included a Hole in One on 16 for Andy Ball, great Fish n Chips in the clubhouse , lovely weather for a seaside venue at the end of October and a few people trying to help knock the clubhouse down early when playing the treacherous 12th!
