Membership: Come and join us at a UKSGA meeting for a day or two! If you are over 55 and playing off 8 handicap or below why not enter one of our competitions and meet some of the UKSGA members for some friendly but competitive golf. UKSGA play on top courses across the country. You don't have to be a member to play your first UKSGA event. Membership fees will only fall due on your second event. So why not come and see what you are missing? The current update is – I have a chest infection and the operation has been deferred, but is scheduled to go ahead on 24th November.

UKSGA Championship

Roy Smethurst (Crewe) is the 2009 UKSGA Champion. In difficult weather conditions at Trevose Roy finished 4 shots ahead of John Roberts (Lancaster) with Nick Rogers (Brokenhurst Manor) third 2 shots back.
Results
The South East produced a clean sweep in the Regional Foursomes taking the Over 55s and the Over 65s (Old Hog) trophies. Result

2010 Fixtures

UKSGA London & HC Championship
Stuart Pond (Worksop) won the UKSGA London & Home Counties Championship by 5 shots with a superb second round 67. Glyn Rees (Fleetwood) was second and Billy Mitchell (Effingham) third after a card play-off. Ian Disney (Frilford Heath) took the net prize

EGU County Finals

Kent are the kings of English Seniors golf again. They regained the title from old rivals Cheshire when they beat them 5˝-3˝ on the concluding day of the County Finals at Tandridge, while Dorset and Staffordshire tied their match to share third place
